We want everyone who visits our website to feel welcome and able to use it with ease.

Our commitment

We are committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible. We endeavour to follow the accessibility requirements outlined in the European Accessibility Act (EAA) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA.

We continually work to ensure our content is:

  • Easy to read and understand
  • Navigable by keyboard
  • Clear and consistent across pages
  • Usable with screen readers and other assistive technologies

What we have done

To support accessibility, we have taken steps including:

  • Using good colour contrast
  • Adding text alternatives for images
  • Ensuring links and buttons are clearly labelled
  • Making sure the site works on different devices and screen sizes
  • Testing with real users and assistive tech where possible

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Our website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA.

Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully adhere to the accessibility standard. We are continually working to identify and resolve the parts of our website that are not fully accessible.

Some of our webpages use third-party vendor provided components. While we cannot control those components, where possible, we look for vendors that provide content and components that are accessible and user friendly.

Feedback

We know accessibility is not a one-time task. We are always working to improve. If we have missed something or you find part of the site difficult to use, please let us know.

We aim to respond within 7 working days and will do our best to fix the issue.
