Work-based learning programmes for you and your employer

Our apprenticeship programmes provide proven benefits to employers, allowing them to upskill their workforce and release the hidden potential contained within their organisation.

They can transform organisations of all sizes, building a competent, skilled and agile workforce which is able to fully support any business that trades internationally, from exporting companies, importers, logistics companies, banks, software providers and trade consultants.

Training is specifically tailored to ensure existing company employees and apprentices develop the skills the employer wants and needs, reducing skills shortages and removing barriers to businesses trading internationally. Our sector specialist Apprenticeship Delivery Coaches will plan, agree and deliver agreed learning aims and ensure that the learning has been effective and embedded throughout the learning journey.

Studying for an apprenticeship qualification allows learners to combine practical training in their job with focussed study aims. These qualifications provide the opportunity for employees to:

  • Gain job-specific skills through practical application
  • Improve their knowledge of the freight forwarding and logistics sector
  • Apply theoretical knowledge with confidence and authority
  • Understand and implement collaborative working practices
  • Achieve a sector relevant qualification
