This article was published before we became the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade on 10 July 2024, and this is reflected in references to our old brand and name. For more information about us becoming Chartered, visit our dedicated webpage on the change here.

BBC Breakfast business presenter Steph McGovern is announced as the guest keynote speaker at the Institute of Export’s glittering annual graduation ceremony at the historic Mansion House in London on 1 May.

Steph, who originally trained as an engineer, is well known for her reports on business and financial events across the world for the BBC.  Joining Steph on the speaking platform are IOE vice-presidents Lord Empey of Shandon and Sir Eric Peacock.

This high profile trio will be congratulating students from national and global organisations who have completed the IOE’s prestigious qualifications in international trade.

Our sparkling event at the Lord Mayor of London’s residence runs from 17.00 to 20.00 with a full reception at 18.00.

This high profile graduation ceremony presents a great opportunity for sponsors to reach an influential, international audience. Here are just some of the benefits:

  • Marketing – We will be mailing over 14,000 specific international traders in the UK who are known to be active in the international arena.

  • Queen’s Awards – As active supporters of The Queen’s Awards we will be inviting around 150 of the new winners – all highly successful businesses – to celebrate competence and the knowledge needed to be an international trader.

Our sponsors will be able to share and gain additional exposure for their brand or message through our pre-event, event and post event activities.

The event is being held at the Lord Mayor of London’s residence, Mansion House, London from 17:00 – 20:00 on Wednesday 1 May.
