The Institute of Export & International Trade is running a new programme of 'lunchtime learning sessions' to help firms come to terms with the implications of the UK’s free trade agreement with the EU.
The one-hour webinars will also cover new rules and requirements for trade with the EU after the UK’s departure from the single market and customs union on 31 December.
Free for IOE&IT members and only £50 (including VAT) for non-members, the online events will take place every Tuesday and Thursday from 14 January till 9 March.
The first webinar takes place this Thursday and is titled 'What is the deal?'
Great opportunity
Kevin Shakespeare, director of the IOE&IT Training Academy, called the new programme a "great opportunity" for companies still getting to grips with the implications of the trade deal.
"This new series is a great opportunity for companies of all levels of experience to get in-depth but accessible advice on procedures around the UK's new trading relationship with the EU – including the impact of the UK-EU trade deal on their business," he said.
For more details about the programme and how to register individual sessions (see list below), visit the ‘IOE&IT Trade with Europe’ hub.
