The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade's mission is to empower importers and exporters globally by setting and maintaining professional standards in international trade.
We do this by providing Ofqual-approved qualifications and training courses, face-to-face and online, as well as one-to-one consultation if needed. You can find examples of this activity in the below case studies.

In 2018, the Chartered Institute delivered a bespoke education programme for trade advisers working for the Saudi Authority for Export Development, as part of Saudi Arabia’s efforts to diversify its economy and exports beyond oil production.
The Chartered Institute tackled the challenge of setting up the world’s first online customs learning platform, the UK Customs Academy, for HM Revenue & Customs – all in the space of seven weeks.
UKEF chose the Chartered Institute to educate its staff about international trade and at the same time raise awareness in government of the export credit agency’s work.
