IOE&IT welcoming new members

The Institute of Export and International Trade’s (IOE&IT) membership continues to expand as we head into 2023, with over 7,500 businesses and individuals in our community.

Below, you’ll find a selection of the new members who joined in January 2023, including businesses and individuals. To those of you who have joined us recently, we’d like to extend a warm welcome to you all.

We’d also like those of you who haven’t yet shared your story with us to do so. IOE&IT always enjoys building member’s connections and this is a great chance to get yourself in front of our network.

Business Members

AMG Chrome

Based in Rotherham, AMG Chrome – a business unit of AMG Advanced Metallurgical Group –  is a leading provider of specialty metals, alloys and materials.

FloraLinc

FloraLinc works with nurseries, garden centres, retailers and horticultural suppliers daily. Offering several value-added services, along with temperature controlled and ambient warehousing, the company offers a complete service including, de-vanning containers, product rework and pallet/case labelling.

Its European department offers daily services throughout mainland Europe for the importing of cut flowers, bulbs and produce. FloraLinc is registered for issuing plant passports for plant products entering the UK for onward deliveries.

Along with its daily UK-to-Netherlands service, its hub in Spalding is a registered point of destination which allows suppliers the flexibility to import directly to the company, for potential plant inspections.

Shuyu Chen               

Shuyu is an student at the University of Warwick, studying international trade, strategy and organisation, with internships in securities and fund companies.

James is a regional lead for manufacturing, transporting and logistics for the south & east of England, ranging from London and Cambridge. His team helps clients in these sectors to invest in their businesses, transact and grow.

Ollie Bampton                       

Ollie has recently joined the Department for International Trade as a trainee and is looking forward to starting his journey through the world of exporting and importing.

Verity Halliday                      

Verity is an enthusiastic problem-solver in the field of international trade compliance and export control, working within the supply chain function at Airbus in Broughton.

She has experience with supply chain end-to-end processes, multi-stakeholder management and toolset improvement.

Josh Mahoney                      

Josh began his journey at Eriez Magnetics Europe in early January 2019 as an after-sales support  trainee. Whilst working at Eriez and developing his product and industry knowledge, he completed both a level 2 and a level 3 NVQ in customer service and customer care.

In his current role, he handles any enquiries relating to spares for magnets, filtration (hydroflow) systems and metal detection for Eriez Magnetics.
