We are thrilled to be once again partnering Going Global Live, held May 17th and 18th at ExCel, where our director general, Lesley Batchelor OBE, will be among the heavyweight panel of guest speakers.

Going Global is Europe’s leading show for businesses that are looking to expand internationally, export products or set up overseas operations.

With many companies now asking how they will trade with the EU following Brexit and looking to extend into markets further afield, the free event is an unmissable opportunity to gain information and support and network.

Each year, Going Global attracts some 3000 business visitors, including CEOs, managing directors and other key decision makers. It will feature 80 expert speakers, 60 exhibiting suppliers, workshops and demonstrations – all designed to help take your business overseas or boost your foothold in the international market.

Experts in South East Asia, Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be on hand to advise which locations fit visitors’ needs. They can also book a one-to-one meeting with Department for International Trade e-expert, Roger Jones and free entry to The Business Show, which runs alongside the event.

Lesley Batchelor OBE will speak on the major changes UK business will face on leaving the EU. With the number of import/export transactions increasing from 90m a year to 300m on leaving the EU, is your business ready for this huge hike in paperwork and responsibility?

Fellow top minds in international business include Jonathan Jones, managing director of Tregothnan, presenting on how to sell tea to China and James Houston, a founder member of Hub Africa, who will discuss business opportunities in Africa.

Geoffrey de Mowbray of the British Exporters Association will speak about the opportunities and challenges of British exporting, while Adam Hosier of AEI Saudi will advise on winning business in Saudi Arabia. .

Said Lesley: “Going Global is the only exhibition and conference that helps businesses reach their full potential by boosting their skills and awareness in international trading and ensuring that they get the maximum return from export markets.

“This insight in how to succeed overseas is absolutely free, so tickets should be claimed quickly.”
