Recordings of the IOE&IT’s masterclass webinars, hosted throughout the coronavirus pandemic, are now available in a comprehensive new online library.

The 90-minute interactive workshops cover a range of topics from the fine details of completing customs declarations to financing supply chains.

'Kept me sane'

Attended by thousands of delegates in the months of April, May and June, the webinars have been rated as ‘really valuable’, ‘highly informative’ and ‘interesting’.

One attendee said the online training with the IOE&IT had “kept me sane in lockdown and all the individuals delivering the training have been excellent”.

Another said: "It was a really good training session, with really valuable information and it will be great to have the recording as some of the material is complicated so I will need to re-watch it."

Lockdown measure

The IOE&IT introduced the masterclass programme to enable traders to continue training and learnabout the processes of international trade during lockdown.

Like many organisations, the IOE&IT has had to adjust to social distancing measures introduced to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

The IOE&IT has also continued to run many of its regular training courses online and has hosted several webinars during the lockdown on the Open to Export and UK Customs Academy platforms.

Free for members

The webinars can be downloaded for free by members and purchased for just £100+VAT each.

Many of the masterclasses, like the IOE&IT’s training courses, are fundable by government grants.

The funding pot for training that helps businesses prepare for Brexit was extended last week by the government by an additional £50m.
