Compliance with customs processes and rules is essential for effective and profitable international trade. A failure to comply can result in goods being delayed, incorrect duties being paid and even companies being banned from exporting.

Correctly classifying your goods with the correct commodity code is one of the essential steps that any company will need to take to ensure customs compliance.

This free one-hour webinar, hosted by the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade in partnership with TariffTel, will introduce the importance of correctly determining and using the correct data and codes when meeting customs obligations.

Speakers:

·        Phil Adnett, senior editor at the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade

·        Anna Doherty, customs practice director at the Chartered Institute of Export and International Trade

·        Elizabeth Davies, customs systems manager at TariffTel

Delegates are invited to send questions in advance to editor@export.org.uk.
