Lunchtime Learnings Export Health Certificates – key considerations and FAQs

Member exclusive event

Governments will often impose sanitary and phytosanitary (SPS) controls on agricultural goods crossing their borders in order to protect the biosecurity and health of their countries. To comply with these rules, food exporters will often be required to complete various documents to prove that their goods meet the SPS standards of the country they are exporting to.

For instance, the UK and EU both require export health certificates to be completed before various SPS goods are imported over their borders. These certificates often need to be signed by an approved official veterinarian in the exporter’s company.

This Lunchtime Learning webinar on 26 June will give further information and practical tips about export health documentation requirements and best practice for compliance. This session follows a free webinar the Chartered Institute is hosting on 21 May 2025 introducing some of the key compliance requirements food and drink businesses need to be aware of to export.

The Chartered Institute provides a range of exclusive benefits and resources for food and drink exporters, which you can find out more about here.
