Lunchtime Learning Export Controls: Importance of knowing your customers

Member exclusive event

Duration:

1 Hour

Location:

Online Only

Start Date:

25 Jun 2026 12:00 pm

End Date:

25 Jun 2026 1:00 pm

Conflicts like the Middle East and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine have led to a proliferation in new export controls on a manner of dual-use and defence goods, with heavier fines and more active enforcement by government agencies.

Knowing your customer, your end-user and where your product is going is a major part of keeping compliant with this new wave of export controls.

Join us for a discussion on this topic with industry-leading controls and sanctions expert, Daniela Turiccki, where she will answer member questions and explain advanced concepts around ‘Know Your Client’ procedures.

When: 12:00 – 13:00 GMT, Thursday 25 June 2026

Where: Microsoft Teams

Delegates are invited to send questions in advance to editor@export.org.uk.
