David Rutter

Meet David Rutter, Strategy and Policy Lead, Economic Security and Supply Chain Resilience at the Department for Business and Trade.

David has spent the last 5 years working on international trade for the UK government, including trade negotiations and most recently developing the Critical Imports and Supply Chains Strategy, for which he now leads implementation.

He graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2012, after which he led communications at an international relations think tank and completed a Master’s at LSE before joining the Civil Service in 2016.
