Free to attend

Duration:

Location:

Online Only

Start Date:

21 May 2025 2:00 pm

End Date:

The UK’s food and drink industry is highly regarded around the world but post-Brexit regulatory complexity and global supply chain crises have seen exports stall in recent years, particularly to the EU.
This free webinar from the Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade will give an overview of the regulatory and documentation requirements for food and drink exporters, giving firms practical advice on how to optimise compliance procedures and reboot their overseas sales.
It will cover:

  • SPS documentation such as export health and phytosanitary certificates
  • Food and drink labelling requirements in the EU, US and other key export markets
  • Benefits of the UK’s post-Brexit free trade agreements – including CPTPP
  • Practical tips on converting compliance from a barrier to a competitive advantage overseas

Delegates are invited to send questions in advance to editor@export.org.uk.
The webinar will be hosted by the Chartered Institute’s senior content editor, Philip Adnett, who will be joined by Joe Goldsworthy, the body’s lead SPS expert and author of its recent industry report, ‘Five key strategies for boosting your food and drink exports in 2025’.
