A new degree apprenticeship in Supply Chain Leadership is now available. Offered by CP Training Services, the work-based programme is designed to provide the essential knowledge, understanding, skills and experience required to operate effectively and successfully in a senior supply chain role.
Core areas focus on: supply chain operations; supply, demand and forecasting; network design; legislation; organisational strategy and finance.
The fully-integrated degree course, designed in partnership with supply chain employers, delivers and tests both academic learning and on-the-job training. With only 15 days per year off-site learning, apprentices on the programme are employed throughout and are doing paid work from day one.
Apprentices will benefit from lectures and seminars, delivered at locations in Leeds and Upminster. Learning is supported by a variety of online tasks and independent research activities which can be undertaken in the workplace.
It will typically take 3½ years to complete the Degree Apprenticeship, however there may also
be opportunities to join part way through the programme if candidates have considerable
experience in a particular area.
Successful apprentices will gain a BSc Professional Practice in Supply Chain Leadership.
Students studying for the Degree Apprenticeship will receive Student Membership of the Institute and we will be delivering some of the modules for the qualification.
