 Container and pallets

From the 1st January 2018, all containerised cargo destined for import into Nigeria must be palletised.

IOE&IT corporate member and expert in export certificates of conformity, XDS Solutions, provide a simple regulatory update to help ensure Institute members are prepared:

Anna- Marie Walsh, XDS Solutions SONCAP Account Manager says:

“Following the publication of revised Nigeria import and export guidelines, as mandated by the Nigerian Federal Ministry of Finance, Nigerian bound containerised cargo departing from all origin ports as from the 1st of January 2018”.

“It’s important that all IOE&IT members are aware that failure to comply with the new directive will lead to re-shipment of containerised cargo and any penalty associated with non-compliance will be borne by the local consignee”.
