The Institute of Export is celebrating the success of nine Scottish Enterprise staff who have achieved the IOE’s Advanced Certificate in International Trade.

Our congratulations go to Nindy Bhari, Jennifer Low, Fiona Maclachlan, Carol Malcolm, Bruce McClure, Elaine McKeown, Brian Price, Ian Ross and Mandy Wright.

Scottish Enterprise graduates were presented with their certificates by Anne MacColl, Chief Executive of Scottish Development International and Scottish Enterprise’s MD of International Operations who said the award supported staff in bringing additional value to the businesses they work with.

The IOE’s Advanced Certificate in International Trade is part of a suite of qualifications the IOE offers as part of our drive to improve training and skills in export and international trade. The qualification focuses on four modules: the business environment, finance of international trade, international marketing and international physical distribution. Successful students can apply for Associate Membership of the IOE.

Institute of Export Council member Sue Wright represented the Institute and congratulated the successful candidates.  Said Sue: “it was wonderful to be part of the presentation which acknowledged the hard work, enthusiasm and commitment of Scottish Enterprise employees to enhance their learning and knowledge so they, in turn, can add greater value to the businesses they work with who are seeking to maximise the wealth of opportunities in international trade.”
