Too many small businesses enter international trade without appropriate terms and conditions, resulting in slow payments, legal issues, dashed expectations and disenchantment with the exporting process. Businesses without international T&Cs also end up taking disputes straight to litigation rather than through mediation and arbitration.

The Institute of Export & International Trade will be joined by Virtuoso Legal in explaining the importance of having proper international T&Cs which provide clarity and cover important issues like anti-bribery and anti-slavery laws.

The Institute will also introduce their new template T&Cs - a vital new member benefit, allowing companies to export confidently and securely.

Virtuoso Legal are a boutique firm of world class intellectual property solicitors. Over the past 10 years they have successfully represented clients in hundreds of intellectual property matters.
