Advice on using BERR import licences on CHIEF as a result of  SAD Harmonisation (SADH)
Notice to Importers 2762, issued on by Import Licensing Branch (ILB

On HM Revenue and Customs introduced changes to the rules for completing most of the boxes on the single administrative document (SAD).  This is so there is harmonisation throughout the European Union on how customs declarations are made.  The project is known as SADH .

To help importers make the change to SADH the following table has been created listing the codes that traders with an import licence issued by the Department of Business

Great news The Institute has negotiated free membership for our members with emita for another year, cost is normally £50. This will give all members free entry into all emita events. Most of these events will also qualify for 5 CPD points.
The cost of membership is normally £50 a year, to continue your Membership after this period, you will need to renew in August 2008. .
