The Institute of Export is the only professional body in the UK offering recognised, formal qualifications in International Trade.

Our professional qualifications, achieved by examination, lead to the award of the Diploma in International Trade which confers Graduate Membership of The Institute and the entitlement to use the suffix, MIEx (Grad).

It is also possible to become a Full Member of The Institute following a minimum of 10 years practical experience in exporting and the taking up of references attesting to competence and performance. Upon acceptance of the application and payment of the appropriate fees, entitlement to use the suffix, MIEx, is conferred.
