Students who have studied and passed similar qualifications may apply for exemptions from individual subjects of The Institute’s professional qualifications. Those who have attained the following qualifications may be eligible for exemptions: 

• HND in Business Studies and/or Management
• ITAS NVQs Levels 3 or 4
• Graduates with a marketing, business, export management or management degree from a recognised university
• Post Graduates with Masters or diplomas in marketing, business, management or export management
• Students who have passed the final examinations of other professional bodies may be eligible for exemptions

EXEMPTION PROCEDURE

 To apply for any exemption, candidates must already be a registered student of The Institute and must supply the following: 

1. A copy of the award(s) for the equivalent qualification
2. A copy of the formal syllabus or pass list issued by the awarding body
3. A formal request stating the units from which exemption is claimed. 

Exemptions from other Professional Bodies and Organisations

Students who have successfully completed The Institute’s professional qualifications are able apply for exemptions from formal qualifications offered by other professional bodies.  To obtain further information concerning these courses and providers please contact the Professional Qualifications department.
